F.A.S.K.
Friends. Acquaintances. Strangers. Kin. Are we inviting them into the life of our church? If not, why not? I’m sitting here at Camp Calvin for a one-day “facilitator training” event with about twenty other Presbyterian elders and pastors. The hope is that we, having these conversations, will be able to facilitate them in other congregations, including our own.
The point is fairly simple: do we know people who are unchurched? If not, then we need to meet some strangers. But if so, have we invited them to our church?
